Hi, I’m Inès.
I’m a former professional dancer, a full-time legal professional (juriste), a runner, and (hopefully) a future Pilates instructor.
Between Practices is where I document my exploration of movement, wellbeing and the challenge of building a balanced life alongside a demanding career.
My Story
Movement has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
As a professional dancer, movement was my profession. Later, my career took me in a different direction and I became a lawyer. While I loved the intellectual challenge, I also experienced what many people do: long hours sitting at a desk, competing priorities and less space for movement in everyday life.
Over time, Pilates became a way to reconnect with my body, move with intention and build a more sustainable relationship with movement.
Why This Blog Exists
This is not a place for quick fixes, transformation promises or fitness perfection.
Instead, I share what I’m learning through Pilates teacher training, running, work and the many transitions that shape a life.
My hope is to explore how movement can support us through different seasons of life — not as another task on a to-do list, but as a companion along the way.
